Our rental fees are between 25-40% of the cost of the average dome within Minnesota. This means that a club renting our space will have extremely reduced rental fees. For some sports and clubs, this is more than 40% of all annual costs to the player.

Take into account that if you can walk in or sign up for space as an individual within a 2-week timeframe for free there are many opportunities to use the space frequently at no additional charge.

Example 1:

Batting Cages cost 30/hr to rent on average – Our rental fee is $7/hr or $0 if you rent it individually within a 2-week time frame. We also offer pitching machines at no additional charge. If you were to purchase an Individual Membership at $15/mo or $180 a year and the player used a cage 1x per week throughout the winter (Nov 1 – April 30th) you would save $510 vs. the 23 times used at $30/hr for a total of $690 at any other location.

Example 2:

If we take a family of 4. Child 1 participates in Volleyball and Softball. Child 2 participates in Soccer and Basketball. Parent 1 uses the gym and walking space. Parent 2 uses the golf simulator and walking space…to walk with their spouse of course!

Our Cost: $40 per month, or $480 for the year.

Other locations:

• Cage Rental: $30/hr, if used 1x per week for the winter total comes to $690
• Gym Membership: $40/mo or $480/yr per person on average
• Golf Simulator: $25/hr, if used 1x per week for the winter total comes to $575
• Basketball Membership: The closest thing we could find was $30/mo for 1 member ($360/year). Otherwise, indoor space is inaccessible on a regular basis.
• Turf Space Rental: $100/hr for 1/4 of a field. There’s really no comparison here as no one books this sort of space for themselves or their kids to just play. We want this to exist within the price of your membership so let’s not include that in the total bill.

Total for the year combining all costs: $2,105. This is taking into account that the memberships or uses for all of these things are for 1 person. Our membership allows the individual to use all of the spaces as long as they are available. So if child 1 wants to workout with parent 1 one day, then great! If the 2 parents decide they want to use the golf simulator together, awesome. No one else is coming to use the batting cage…spend an extra hour in it. The field is wide open…take the whole field if you want.

In short.. as long as you use your membership outside of a club setting, or your child is part of more than 1 club that uses the space, you will definitely save money. If you only use it in connection to your club and your child is only involved in the one sport, you’ll likely be a little closer to breaking even.
